Not having one here!

I can get all the weather, local, national and international news, music and other stuff I need on the PC. We have Freesat in the kitchen and Sky in the living room and I can choose my UK region on both.

My portable phone is, oddly enough, used for phone calls, text messages and, vanishingly rarely, for consulting a website. Possum has spotify on hers. I listen to local radio or CDs or a USB key in the car or, at home, on a small stereo system in my sewing room. French radio is not interesting enough and, in any case, our stone walls mean we can only get a signal upstairs and it's not always clean.

Shopping lists are done dynamically - when we run out of something it goes on the paper list on the fridge. The night before our weekly shop we plan a week's menus and add to the shopping list as needed.

We are dependent enough on technology and I don't want be any more then I have to.
