Yes, slowly getting there, still very tired, regularly taking naps to build up my strength.

Oops Lolimac......sat on the bed and ironed some hankies tea towels, and pillow cases. Ironed like a tortoise was sat on the ironing board

 

Probably not of any comfort but just to say my Dad had a Colostomy bag for over 20 years. It took a little while for things to settle down but eventually they did and he had very little bother. He was offered a reversal and declined it saying he was not fussed. On the other hand Dad did nothing but moan about his false teeth so wasn't the non complaining type at all!
Get as much rest as you can. Ironing! Unless you enjoy this particular pet hate of mine I'd let the tea towels etc have a few creases in them until you are back fighting fit. Hope you get some really good sunny weather soon so you can maybe get the lounger out and soak up some rays.Keep us posted on how you are getting on.

Lilllllliiii....What have I told you about ironing

You take it steady

 

I am going to go back to see my doctor when I have my bag changed tomorrow, I had the worst day ever yesterday. I am going to get her to give me a blood test, to see if there is any level of infection in my blood and to look at my thyroid.

I am feeling cold ( the weather here was in the low 20s') and I just wanted to sleep all day, if I shut my eyes, I would practically go off to sleep again.

I wish the letter would come from the hospital so that I can start to get the other operation under way, I am not looking forward to more of this.

 

Hope the visit to the Doc will help with some more pain relief to get you through this difficult phase Liliana.

I am already on 2 Paracetamol 4 times as day, 5 Gabapentin a day and 2 Naproxen tablets a day., plus all my other tablets, overall I take about 25 tablets a day !

 

Managed to get in contact with my surgeon's secretary, and I do not have an appointment
to see him again until May 14th !

I have told of the problems I am having, and she is going to have a chat with him, and
explain what I am experiencing.

 

Back from doctor's, blood pressure down, and have to stop water tablets.

Tomorrow got to have blood test to check iron and thyroid levels.

Liquid now slowing down, when it stops, doctor say's I have to visit nurse everyday
to have a dressing put on, whilst wound heals, until I go back in May.

Still taking it easy.... Yes, I am.
