I had some mint that I'm told came from one of the queen's gardens. It didn't thrive in my garden. Then it died back at the end of the year as it does, but didn't come back. I'm not sure if it died of cold from the proper northern climate, or maybe it died of shame and embarrassment, given that my garden is somewhat less posh than one of our Liz's gaffs.

I have a rather nice unusual variegated mint that grows 50/50 green / white - assuming it comes back this year I will probably take some cuttings off it if you would like one ?
