Our little one came at 7pm this evening, never seen it that early so we quickly put food out and it came over straight away. Taken through glass.

@pete branded hedgehog food ie insect and cereal based pellets. Second larger one came after and shared the plate together, normally they are solitary.

I was talking to a mate just now and he told me to get Burgis kitten food.
Apparently one of the hedgehog sanctuaries he knows told him they use it all the time.

I think as long as it's chicken flavour and I think if it's tinned not to have gravy but jelly in it.

Things you shouldn't feed them on are sunflower hearts, mealworms or peanut butter.

Our little one came early again this evening.

Don't think that we'll have one tonight because it's raining, they don't like to get wet.

Its not like feeding a dog or cat.
Surely if they dont like something they wont eat it, or atleast will only eat it once.

How do these animals survive in the wild?

@Spruce, sorry for the late reply, sunflower hearts are so full of fat along with peanuts that they can cause digestive problems if directly feed to them. Foraging around the bottom of feeders is ok as there won't be as many and some already half eaten.
