    Thanks for your updates pete and TO. Mine has had to go through a high 30s period in the shade and I had a bit of burn on two leaves but we've dropped down again to high 20s. I'm watering daily.

    pete, it's obviously dark now so I can't do a good examine and don't know if I'll have time in the morning before my departure, but these thingies I photographed don't look like my new leaves coming ... a next week reminder! [​IMG]

    The thingies are flowers I think, we had some on the alocasias in the garden centre and I asked what they were, I was told flowers.
