It's an Autumn flowering one. Most flower in the Spring.

 

I've never had any success with Lewisias but recently I saw some reduced so I bought two, and one of them is now flowering ...



This time I am going to keep them in pots with my cacti and succulents ...

 

They love dry and hate winter wet. Keep dead-heading them all the time.

@Sirius Correcto! Yes, it's one of yours. The others you gave me are also doing very well. I particularly like the one with the dark edge to the frond. Thank you very much again for those. If you want any unusual ferns, let me know the names and I'll look to see if I have any of them. By the way, Cheilanthes has been renamed now. It's difficult to keep up with all this name changing.

 

I seem to recall reading that some of the Cheilanthes had been assigned to other genera, but not all ???

 

@Sirius I don't bother changing my labels now. Too many name changes so I'll live in the past.
