Alstroemeria Indian Summer

    Strange, I find Indian Summer to be one of the few things I don't have to support! It doesn't grow more than about 90 cm for me. The only support is a golden oregano winding its way around the base

    Mine were bought-in plants (they never made it the second year) of about that height, @CarolineL. The nurseryman advised support as the top growth was disproportionate to the rootball size. The ones waiting to go into their new home have been potted on and are shorter and wider :) Must admit that the few pink and lilac ones that grow elsewhere never get to more than about 30cm so not a problem :biggrin:
