Alternative Ideas for Annual Plants From Seed

    Overwintered a Caiophora hibiscifolia, @longk for the last two winters.
    So hoping for some decent growth this summer, I'll be planting it out soon.

      I go on the principle that if you pack enough plants in they don't have space to fall over;):)
      Is Phacelia really good as a green manure @NigelJ ? The veg plot definitely needs some help this year...

      It produces a lot of green material that I tend to compost. I think that a mix of annual rye and red clover might better as a green manure.

      Growing cerinthe also salvia splendens, cleome and ricinus.. eager to pick up some more unusuals :smile:
