Thinks are definitely on the up & up! 0

Balc is indeed a shortened for balcony! :) I lived in Spain for the better part of 30 years. I was there on several occasions the last being 19 years! I grew all manner of plants on the balconies of the different flats we lived in. :)

Westringia glabra 'Deep Purple' Australian Coastal Rosemary suddenly bursts into bloom and can bloom at any time of the year. I have had it many years and it stays compact with a light trim. I plan to underplant it with a pinky peach Salvia microphylla I have taken cuttings of and rooting in water.

My Alstroemeria 'Inticancha Bryce' (I thought it was Indian Summer but have looked at my receipt) has a stem with three blooms ...

The lovely draping Tecoma stans (Ginger Thomas) and Oleander in a pot blooming ...

The pot next to Munchkin is a Tradescantia 'Blushing Bride' which has gone totally green but we like it anyway.

A couple of Gazania on an overcast day in The Courtyard ...

The pots, china houses. Had them probably 30ish years. I had four, the three small ones and one large one. I had a little village on my windowsill. The large one was broken in a dozen pieces by a friend's son ... grrrr!
Yesterday T'other Half painted it grey and let the green come through ...

I tidied the pots on The Courtyard earlier before it got too hot (29c then but I was in full sun) so worked quickly!

The Avocado Tree done from a stone four years ago dominates The Courtyard ...

Yes, there is already a Campsis radicans planted by the small trellis on the wall to the left. It is only about 30cm/12in tall at the moment. I also have plans for a Petrea volubilis vine and there already is a Podranea ricasoliana already planted at the edge of the orchard we planted years ago but we sadly let it get out of control and cut it back. We are leaving the open gap for the cats.

T'other Half has run a S/S corded wire from the house to The Baffa and has put the Podranea ricasoliana (mentioned above) along it.

                                Thank you Philip.

Yes, we are proud of the Avocado tree. I have to admit I cannot take credit here as T'other Half did it when I was having my long hospital stay. He must have been bored without me. :heehee:

I don't sit in the sun, have a half hour in filtered sun in the morning then an hour or two in the shade after 5pm where I will retreat to shortly with a bevvy..
