It's all looking very nice Sis, recovered from the builders sand and mess. That first Bourgainvillea has covered that corner very nicely.

Strongy, your Bourgainvillea might be small but it lovely flower heads and is a lovely colour.

Hi folk. We think Bougies are just about the best thing since sliced bread ... but we don't eat that here ... [IMG]

We are coming into our element now with the rains ... if they come again ...

strongy, that is a beaut and I'd love to have it ... strange there are no "flowers" that I can see only the brachts but I love it ... better to have brachted than never to have brachted at all ... [IMG]

I have a white double, about five years old which also has small bracts and you can't see it's flowers either.
BTY I just noticed the largest Thevetia has a small bud at the top so I gave it and the others some potash feed so I might have a show later unless the glasshouse gets to cold and they drop off.

I have a white single tinged with pink and green, very strange but beautiful, but it's not blooming yet. I also have an orange one ... along with the purples, pinks and fuchsia coloured ones ... they don't have names here. [IMG]

They do take a long time to establish here, years, and it can be dodgy at that then, if you're lucky, off they go like a rocket.

We don't feed ours as we are told they don't require it and prefer poor soil.

My dear ag, probably 80% of the plants in my garden are poisonous .... Oleander, Poinsettia, Brugmansia, Cestrum, Solanum ... to name but a few ... and then there's the bulbs ...

I know you don't grow a lot of what I do, but I hate to inform you but your percentage is high also. :(

roders and pete ... beautiful photos, both of yours (albeit yours in Crete, roders) are the purple variety which supposedly is the "common" one here ... this is the one we cannot get going and looks like a dead twig.

Strongy, your brother's one is Crete is not so common here either and very lovely. Yes, you could say my white one is rather apple blossom-ish. [IMG] Hopefully it will bloom this year, also the orange one which is strange. I have it in a strawberry pot (yes) on the kitchen patio ... this was it last year ...
