Sorry, mira, rosa and ydd. I think they are brilliant ... in looks ... not in ambience ... they are not wired up and I can't see this happening in the near future. :D

Good morning, pip. There is only one gardener in this household ... thank you for the compliments. [IMG]

T'other half has been known to manhandle the hose on the odd occasion as his irrigation system is very hit and miss. [IMG]

At least mine doesn't even attempt gardening, Cutie, thank goodness ... a true blessing.

Kathy, you really must have the patience of Job. My door is always open to you. [IMG]

I had thought about tea lights but then had second thoughts that that may negate the electricity going in. It's a tough project as the walls of the outdoor living room are like the house ... made of stone and clay and 60cm thick.

And I want to see some of your stormy pics over the winter. [IMG]

I have to admit ... I am addicted to flowers and I can't resist catching them in the morning sun ...

    Begonia ...

Bougainvillea by the gate (trailing on the ground on Aptenia) ...

    Bougainvillea by the house ...

    Cyclamen under the Jacaranda ...

Double Hibiscus (the first year it was double, second year single and now third year double again ????) ...

Single Hibiscus, a true beauty this one ...

And the darling Violas which seem to bloom non stop on the kitchen patio ...

I have some ABELMOSCHUS MANIHOT just coming up.
Here are the pictures. The one on its own is more grown up, because as you can see the pointy leaf in the middle is bigger, the others were sown at the same time but they had less light in the last five days.
