It's about time I did a bit of an update ....

... here'a a more recent photo of the shrub Bouganvillea which we now think is called Torchglow ...

... the Rosemary coming into bloom ...

... things bushing out around the L'archway ...

... the kitchen patio view from the back door ...

... the Bread Oven with the Baffa and Deck behind ...

... and last but not least, tomatoes drying in the sun on the Bread Oven roof ...

The tomatoes dried in two days so I have another tray on the go as of today then I'll soak in olive oil and use for sauces in the winter. [IMG]

I like the crickets and cicadas! It wasn't quite dark when this was taken and the brolly has those lights along the struts and there's the bead lights around the edge, and the metre high s/s lights on the corners, and the crackle glass solar light (which you just can't see to the right) not to mention the glow-in-the-dark stones .... and the STARS and the MOON! What do you want ... a football stadium spotlight?

NO shopping mall (I'm not into shopping, except open country markets) and NO casino ... but you can come and play (I was going to say games but better not or someone will think sleasy thoughts), I know GAMES ... Backgammon, UNO, Karioka! If it's not bright enough for you, we can put up some additional fairy lights! :D :D

Its all very nice L of L, but we're enduring autumn storms right now, if I put tomatos on my roof the wind would blow them away, and that umbrella wouldn't last five minutes over here.
Your far too soft over there. :D
Gawd, wish I was there. [IMG]

We've recently had the umbrella attempt on a couple of occasions to launch itself into the orchard to the right of the picture (and that's when the umbrella is down), taking the table with it, landing across the palm, cycad, Nolina and monkey puzzle to the right but fortunately not damaging them because they's still small! When we have winds here, we have winds!

We've been indoors this afternoon with the a/c on ... it's 32.5C out there now but about to go out and survey things and check to see if those toms are ready to come in and be jarred in olive oil. [IMG]

Morning night owl / early bird, purplelady. I noticed you had been around for a while.

Thank you for your kind comments and glad you enjoyed my garden. We went up on the deck last night just before midnight as we heard "rumbles" and we could see this fantastic firework display coming from Albufeira, about 5-6 miles as the crow flies. It was dark, quiet with a lovely breeze (although still around 28C) and these wonderful sparkly lights. We calculated the distance from the time it took for us to hear the rumble after the display!
