October is starting our winter colour now, which we really love, so have a wander around with me ...

A view toward the lane with Euryops pectinatus (Golden Daisy Bush) in the right foreground starting to bloom and the Euryops chrysanthemoides (Paris Daisy) left budding, ...

... the Salvia continues to bloom ...

... the Podranea ricasoliana (Pink Trumpet Vine) just opening its blooms ...

... the Senna pendula (Christmas cassia) also starting to open its buds ...

... and our favourite, the Tecomaria capensis (Cape Honeysuckle) in the evening sun. This has doubled in height this year and must be 10 feet tall now ...

I hope you enjoyed the evening wander with me!

Thank you BM (looks like t'other half's Guiness), Fancy, Kandy, Strongy (you're going to be too busy in Crete) and Dendro (yes, I've done that many times, do you eat fish?) ... all are always welcome if you are in the vicinity! [IMG]

Just popped in to get a glass of the red vinho so will pop back out as we're sitting looking at that first view from the Sandbar enjoying ... albeit me with a tee-shirt cardi on (that's a cardi made of tee-shirt material) but both in shorts. It's 22C but there's a lovely cool breeze.

    Fala mais tarde X

No fish, LoL!! Nor chicken..... But I'm not vegan - eat plenty of eggs, milk and cheese :D

You have such a lovely place out there - you'll be over-run with GC-ites!! A bit like Luddites, but a bit nicer.....

    Besides K-G, all are welcome!

Gogs, you wouldn't believe this Cape Honeysuckle in real ... K-G can tell you herself when she sees it.

I figured the chicken was out Dendro, thought you might eat fish though like our other veggie friends!

fish breathe and have eyes - but if you start to tell me that potatos have eyes, and osmosis and respiration are the same as breathing, I'll scream!! I have to eat something, after all! (And I don't enquire too closely into wine - isinglass... - the dreaded word....)
