Victoria.....I feel the younger generation want more 'behind' them now than we did when they get married, most of our furniture was second hand. We didn't have a honeymoon either and in our first week of marriage we lived on tinned food as we only had a fiver between us. Our food bills back then worked out to about £12.50 a week, how things have changed. My wedding dress although new cost me £29.00!

Zigs, I think there's a certain lady that should be taking note of all this.

In my long existence there's only been two photo's taken of me that I've liked. The wedding picture above and a black and white one taken in a bikini on the beach at Oban when I was fourteen years old.......and no, you won't be seeing that one!
