Lovely photos Angelina! I'm glad the Verbena has come up! The tomato seeds you sent me in return also germinated well, are growing strongly and are flowering. So thanks to you too! :ThankYou:

I haven't been here for quite some time. I started a new job (but that's hardly the thread to discuss it). I was so busy that I almost let the garden slip out of control, but now I'm getting it back on track. And I feel a real thirst to rejoin my most frequented forums and gardening groups.
            Love this place! :ccheers:

Here is a brief overview of last year's season:

                    Thank you!
And here is how it's turning out this spring... I feel excited because I've just hit 'Enter' to complete an order of hellebores and more crocuses and some lilies, to boost up the summer and the early spring of next year. And I'm also drooling over some heucheras, although I've potted a few cuttings from my own varieties, but it's always tempting to add to the foliage hues I already have.

It's Palm Sunday today in Bulgaria, but as we haven't really got any 'palms' around, the Bulgarian version of the name is 'Tsvetnitsa' or 'the Day of Flowers and/or Willows'. We celebrate it as the name day of all people named after flowers, herbs, trees, etc. So, in addition to its importance within the Christian tradition, it is popularly associated with spring, greenery, lushness, flower decorations, and, of course, gardening! That's why I thought it a good occasion to pay visits to all my 'virtual gardening sanctuaries', say 'hello', report on my progress, look at some of yours... :ccheers:

There's been quite some rainy weather here over the last week, and, working full days, I was barely able to find half a day in the dry to cut the grass, but I finally managed one evening, with a headlight.

Reality is better than the photos, to be honest. When I first started 'conceptualising' the whole thing years back, I read in some thick books that a garden would be more attractive if it didn't reveal itself 'at a glance'. That's how I began to structure it. So, there is not a single perspective, which allows the camera to capture it all, in a straight line.
At the beginning, it looked better in pictures than in reality, but now, in the peak of season, 'the real perception and the feel of it' are far superior to anything the lens can convey.

I hope I can share at least some of that. It's Flowers' Day! :spinning:

Hello Angelina. so nice to see you again after so long.

My, your garden is so much bigger than I thought. It is like a parkland full of variety and colour. Truly spectacular. I am quite jealous.

Take care and don't take so long to visit us again. Vxx
