Announcement of an impending move to Xenforo forums and the technical reasons

Probably a bit late in the day but I have created a 'How To' forum called "How To Use XenForo" which you can see if you go to the Home Page. It covers most of the most used features. Let me know if you can't find it or if there's anything missing that you want added. I'll be around all day tomorrow and all day Monday.

Guess it's goodbye in this forum then! Not been a bad old place but like most ill-cared for buildings, it's gone past its sell by date!

Yes Freddy it appears we are in the process of being re-indexed by a number of search engine bots and it's taking it's toll... I'd link to the post form Richard but I can't get it to load *oh the irony*

Earlier there was "spy" at the top and also mentioned by Daisees in the how to will this be back when the bots have stopped searching?

 

thats my hope yes

i'm going to look into blocking spy for guests and google bots

so only real members can use it

Click the watch thread button at the top of the thread on the right

 

it maybe was lagging alittle due to the bot invasion

yet they do upload in time (not as quick as we will be when invasion over)
