Three needed and seven to go!

It's never going to be a good result.

Maybe, if pushing for a 2nd referendum lost them those seats, it also lost them the chance of a combined Labour + SNP grouping that would've given them them a greater number of MPs than the Conservatives (with JC as PM and NS as DPM).

Their manifesto didn't appear to do the Conservatives any favours.

And as for Labour's result, they've only got a few more MPs now than were elected in 2010 when Gordon Brown lost the election.

Tim Farron (leader of Lib Dems for those unfamiliar with the name) narrowly avoided losing his seat to the Conservatives.

      UKIP are finished.

      Another GE by October 2017?

I think this has to happen , as Brexit negotiations are looming on the horizon . The Tories need a new leader with a bit of charisma - possibly Ruth Davidson from Scotland ? Also a more positive manifesto . After nearly 10 years of austerity four more years of cut cut cut and a teetering National Health service did not inspire anyone .
If Labour had had Andy Burnham as leader , rather than Corbyn and his looney left , possibly labour could have been elected ?

            I'm glad i didn't vote :snorky:

The things i would like to see done was bits from all party's but you can only vote for one
Some of the things were from Cons,Labour,Ukip and the greens, if the things i like to be done was in one party i would have come out and voted

It is a shame that we, the people, cannot reject a minority government and force another election.

The four results still to be declared are, currently, all Conservative. Three of them should be in soon but Kensington have suspended their count for their counters to go home and take a rest!

The other three are all in Cornwall. :rolleyespink: @Verdun can you go along and sort them all out? :snorky:

This election has proved that isn't an indicator of anything. Canterbury has been conservative led for 170 years; this morning, it is now Labour. Most likely due to the student vote.

Now, that is an interesting thing: the Student vote. Most students are from other areas and yet they get to vote for an area where they are temporary residents and won't be around to benefit or otherwise; yet, the permanent residents are left with whatever the outcome of that vote is.
