    Hi there, RavenMAd ... no, I'm from the Valleys ... Pontypridd. A right Welsh lass but widely travelled. Some say I have a hint of Welsh sounding in me ... but I can't hear it ... more Buckinghamshire I'm afraid ... but luckily the Brooklyn accent has gone ........

    Hey. If we're bragging about ethnic origin, I want everyone to know that my maternal grandfather was Welsh (He was a Llewellyn). My paternal grandmother was from Edinburgh (She was a Stephenson). My paternal grandfather was a Yorkshireman. (He was a *****) and my maternal grandmother was a cocker spaniel. (She won best of breed at Crufts in 1910). :( [​IMG]

    I have fond memories of a holiday Pontypridd LoL- german measles at 7 years old. :(

    LoL might not, but I do.... didn't live there, but had to take son for college interviews there, and have been to several Bluegrass events in thearea, including at the Rugby Club!

    My OH dosn't have a Welsh accent until she's talking to 'her people' on the 'phone, and then the accent is unmistakable and her being a Welsh speaker.
