    Hi Guys
back looking at my grass and after scarifying it last year and removing out 3 or 4 bin bags off grass it seems to be back to being thatchy underneath and yellow with almost a top layer of green would I be able to scarify again? or do I have to leave it for another month or so? is there any feed or fertilizer I should use or should I try and treat for red thread(my orginal problem) This time I thing I need to be more aggressive

    Hi Steveo...
I can't see why you couldn't scarify your lawn now as long as it's dry,it will do it good to get rid of the thatch and get some air through it ,personally i would wait a little longer to feed it,preferably when it gets milder but that's just my opinion:dbgrtmb:

so would it be ok to scarify the grass just now at this time of month? should I add something like a seaweed feed? was also thinking that perhaps I need to aerate the lawn? this is proving difficult as no local gardeners seem to do this and the hire of a aeration machine costs approx. £90 for one day hire
