anti malware/virus programs

    Hi,

    Apart from a resident AV program, we are always told to run one or more onetime AV scanners and I used MalwareBytes and also the popular AdwCleaner , along with some others now and then.

    However, with AdAware being bought up by MalwareBytes and reissued as one of its own products, wonder if there is any point in using AdwCleaner as would have thought it now uses very similar scanning methods ...?

    Edit, oops, initially put AdAware, it should of course have been AdwCleaner, another senior moment :redface: :gaah:
