Anti theft protection for some laurels???

    Now is the time for taking cuttings. Find someone with a laurel hedge which has not been cut recently and ask if you can take some cuttings. Set them in pots or ex flower buckets, six to a pot or you could try putting them directly into the ground where you want them to grow. Laurels are pretty hardy.

    If there are any special things to do to cuttings to get them through the postal service you can have as many as you want off mine.

    In my experience cuttings travel well wrapped in moist kitchen paper, and then sealed in a fridge-type plastic bag. ;)
