          Deffo Salvia. Not familiar with this one though, so someone else can suggest the exact species. S.buchananii maybe?

            I think it is some cultivated form of Stachys Sylvatica(hedge woundwort), I just can't find any cultivars of it.

              Salvia darcyii or S.dorisiana maybe?

                Have a look on the RHS site for Salvia elegans 'Scarlet Pineapple' looks very similar also known as pineapple sage.

                Longk I think you are correct, Salvia dorisiana looks a really strong possibility.
