Ok.. do birds eat slug eggs?
If so I can simple empty the pot into a tray and let our blackbird do the business as he did with one of my pots yesterday which I had just removed some peas.. Did a really good job of scattering the compost!
Thing is the pot with the eggs was next to it and untouced.
If any survive I have my frogs as a defense and then theres the night patrol.
    Got it covered.

slug/snail eggs clear or white and in groups

slow release fertiliser brown or coloured.

dig over and leave for the birds or to dehydrate on the surface.

I'd say snail eggs, but I'm being picky.

Slow release fertilizer it a more yellow colour in my experience.
