Anybody else like snails!!!!

    Doesnt Ziggy have giant snails as pets too?

    I have considered these as pets but the slimy trail puts me off, we have had some quite bizaar things as pets in our house. The most strange was a battered whitebait my daughter (then 5) rescued from a restaurant plate and insisted on keeping as a pet! It only lasted a day then they eyes fell out and we insisted she bury it...also it had started to smell a bit

    worry you not Val, I only squish the snails I find, there are hundreds out there, plenty for the hedgehogs, my foot is preferable to slug pellets don't you think??

    Yes definitely, slug pellets are cruel and can also kill anything that eats the slug i.e. hedgehogs and birds.
