If you dont open the windows you can get temps in excess of 40 degrees in march lol .Got to get them open first thing in the morning(0800hrs)usually water them at same time and give a feed every week .To exposed outside so keep them indoors and save seed for the birds in the winter
    :D

I have eight growing they are all about 18 inches high ..but usually they end up about 8 foot at least!..i had some lovely ones in my front garden two years ago and they had huge heads and were so nice people took photos of them and a drunk came in the night and broke the stems and trashed them ..and left all the mess for me to clean up..it was heartbreaking..so last year i didnt put any on the front garden ..but i have planted three on the front behind a pampas grass... this year...so if any drunk wants to get at them they will slash themselves on the pampass grass as thats like razors..
