Anyone else experiencing lagging here?

I have already cleared caches, don't normally get cookies (since I have installed ghostery) and don't have temporary files. (I do have cc cleaner but am not sure how to use it and what the drawbacks of doing so are). From what I have read about defragging, it makes next to no difference.

I access this site via a bookmark so this rules out the DNS issue doesn't it? Bear in mind that also pamsdish, sheal and anthony rogers have all suddenly experienced problems with lagging here (see posts above). Hence it does seem site related...

 

I have good internet access and no problems with lagging at any other site, which is why I think it is something related here. Is there anything that can be checked/looked into here, just by way of verification?
3 other members are also experiencing difficulties (as mentioned in my previous post).

 

I have just tried the bookmark suggestion, i.e. deleting it and then re-bookmarking it. Same situation re. lagging - sometimes it just goes to a white screen now!

Like Rosebay, I also get the whitescreen a lot and also the pale green background screen.

 

Can I ask a question please ?

If GC, the Webmaster or whoever does the techy things are not altering the site then....... Where has the picture gone with the Campanula and weedy seedlings etc . Now the background is just plain light green ! ! !

I can't take a photo,. What I've got is the white page you have with a green bit at the top which has Gardeners Corner witten in white and a sun.

 

My ISP is Manx Telecom @Webmaster.
