Anyone else grow Arisaema

    Only just caught this thread, as I've been away. Did you manage to get any whoppas?? Pity I wasn't here as I would have asked you to get me one!!!! Typical!! Never mind....

    It was a bit dissapointing really, but there were other rare plant sellers so got some interesting stuff.

    The arisaemas were all potted up, but I think he is going to get me some bulbs, so will see what he comes up with.

    Oh and how do you get babies, mad did show me the female bit last saturday, and saved it from my speciosum but lost it in my enthusiasm. are your babies self sown?

    Hi Waco, this is my Arisaema ciliatum. The babes came up this year I assume from the mother plant like other bulbs? I have 2 so its possible they self seeded ?

    Very spectacular! funny but mine don't stink like everyone says they do.

    My sikokianum doesn't smell its just these, especially in the evening when the earth gives up the heat and it hangs in the air.

    So I now got seeds on them - anyone any ideas about growing from seed please?
