Anyone had any weird dreams lately ?

Me too Shobna, I went through a phase of deliberately falling down the stairs trying to recreate it.

And as a child I really believed that as soon as my wings grew I would be able to fly, it was a dark day when I realised that wouldn`t happen, I was about three at the time I imagine. In the next incarnation a bird is what (if I get the option) I will choose to be I think.

 

Maybe you were a bird in a previous life and that's why you believed you would be able to fly!

I can sometimes stop myself just as I am falling asleep and hold myself in that sort of half awake half asleep phase. I feel as though I am falling/tumbling like Alice in Wonderland down the rabbit hole. All sort of floaty. I am aware of where I am and am not frightened - from there I either fall asleep or wake up again. I know I don't actually land. Was terrified the first time it happened though!

 

That is a skill it can take years to acheive, all sorts of sleep experiments take place, like the testing of astral projection-another thing I think there is more to than we think.

 

Sometimes our sixth sense is trying to tell us something and that too can be interpreted as a dream.

 

Last nights;

I was out shopping, but in a strange town, when I went into a shop to ask about some cosmetics and there were two very young very pretty women there but was instead approached by an older French woman who was very beautiful. She was in the middle of talking to me when the alarm went off. In the dream the alarm was a buzzer which told the staff there was a customer in the shop-and yet the woman didn`t hear it-only me. That`s a sort of lucid element isn`t it?

The dreams where I meet people who I have never seen in my life before and yet are vivid, and places I haven`t been to before yet are intricately detailed interest me the most.
