May I ask? Do you want summer or rain because no one seems to be pleased with either ... it's too hot, it's too wet, I need sunshine, I need rain ...... :help::flag:

i have had 1.5 inches, according to my rain gauge, over the last three days, which was very welcome. But its still not a lot, when the soil was so dry.

My ideal would be gentle rain overnight at about 2am and not too heavy so as to wake me up of course; then bright sun during the day except for clouds at 8am as it's shining on my computer screen and mid-day when I want to eat my lunch outside in the shade. Is that too much to ask for? :lollol:

Looks like my garden's had the much needed break from the sun and a couple of humid days with cloud and rain have made things look a lot happier (mainly the lawn which was rather scorched).
Now i'm hoping for a dry weekend though (and for the wind to die down), as i'll be putting together a little 6x4 tool shed tomorrow and I dont fancy doing that in the rain.

Very hot and humid in the North-West today...and wet!
Could be like it all week.
    Still, the lawn's looking good.

    Ah!

Another one with a water meter?

As well is being responsible for all this rain last week and the week-end, having recently installed a leaky hose watering system and pop-up sprinklers. I made it worse by giving my lawn a feed two days ago as it has rained since.
