Well we had our first real rain today, had a few showers up till now.

Already finding the gloom and the drizzle a pain, lets get at least a few more days of decent weather before winter closes in.:)
And by that I mean some decent temperatures without the forecast northerly wind.

I'm a bit partial to a nice bit of mackerel Ziggy, got any spare?

    Aaron, chickens every time.

Pete, you can have some, but the brine was full of chilli. Shall I email you a few fillets?

I need rain, watered three times today ... hottest day of the year so far at 37c, currently 31c and we won't go much below 28c ... a/c is a necessity. I'm not complaining, our water bill last month with this constant watering was under 20 Euros .... I live in the country and that includes meter rental (?) and twice a week rubbish collection.

O2, I thought that was considered good weather in Manchester . :flag: :hehe:

As I've said before, you would be most welcome down here in Shineyland :gnthb: :). We've had two or three days of rain in the last 10 weeks. There are a few places for sale down here at the moment. :thumb:

There's a nice little property a few miles away that was used in 'Footballers Wives' that is for sale for only 3.4 million. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

After a virtual 3 month plus drought, yes I'd like some rain, preferably LOTS!

We had a downpour the other day followed by heavy drizzle for hours, I still had to get the hose pipe out! All my water butts dried out weeks ago :(

    Ziggys song for today....

O my soil is soaking wet,
But i've not quite done yet,
    Instead of using hose,
    I've taken off my clothes.

    I'm dancing in the buff,
    Cos i've just had enough,
    Of watering my stuff,
Though my beans might turn out tough.

Oh, my soil is soaking wet,
And i've just had a bet,
That the time this song is thru,
The weather forcast will be blue. :(
