      @jennywren
      The flowers are crispy, very refreshing with a slight taste of cucumber. Delicious in salad or in a Hendricks G&T. :ccheers: I tend to just pick them off and munch them as I'm walking round the garden.

      They're good if you put them in ice cube trays before you fill them with water.

        just thought now a few weeks has passed it might be worth posting an update showing a more mature 'weed/plant'. Maybe a little easier to identify now :)

        Any ideas? :)

        Meanwhile took this photo of what is either a butterfly or a moth of some kind on a parsnip :) Kinda purdy :) Do i need to worry about this one? It didn't seem to have any intentions of moving even when the wind was blowing the leaf around :) IMG_0405.JPG IMG_0409.JPG

        Hi Andy I am not sure but I think your weed could be Borage.(Can't think of the Latin name off hand).we have it growing each year on our allotment plots and I tend to leave a couple of them for the bees to enjoy.

        Your moth looks like it could be a Tiger Moth(Artica Caja) on your Parsnip leaf.There is usually an influx of them into the UK from Europe I believe and they are a nice moth to see in the summer months.:smile:
