Reading the previous postings I would just like to add - it is better to watch Celebrity than the repeated newscasts of bombing and killing, murders etc etc. We know it unfortunately happens but we don't want to watch it again and again every few hours.
Long live this sort of lighthearted 'rubbish' for us who like to watch it!

    Mod announcement
Please refrain from using unpleasing words. Not all of us are in the modern idiom and find such words offensive. I have editted out the ones on this thread.
    End of Mod announcement!! [IMG]

There was a slang word, imported from the USA, which can have vulgar connotations.....it is also a game of dice .....or in this case a dicey word ! :D M-L

    Very good, M-L! :D :D

How's everything your way these days? We've been having much-needed rain but it feels cold. Didn't get over 17oC today so we lit a fire early to take the chill off. Ha, I have jeans, a long-sleeved heavyweight T-shirt and a sweatshirt on ... we call it "turning Portuguese" and sing it to the tune of "I think I'm turning Japenese, I really think so ...." Sad, aren't we? [IMG]

I'm sure you are right Roders about the fans voting in force and good luck to him too - though even he looked very surprised when he was announced as winner!

As Mylene is sort-of local to us - the local papers are saying she should have won, but equally I thought it could have been Jason.

Hi LOL Everything fine here ........we were in San Sebastian for 10 days up to last Sunday and we had a mixture of very high winds and torrential rain and lovely warm sunshine ....superb shopping though !!!! back home it is mild and calm but we went 'native' a long time ago and whilst any visitors here at the moment may walk around in shorts and t-shirts  we are covered up ......getting acclimatised soon changes the winter wardrobe .... only another 19 days to the shortest day and we start going the other way ....that's the beauty of here, and where you are I should think, the winter woes are short lived .... M-L
