          The bidding on items that start at 99p can sometimes rise to silly amounts that can even exceed the cost of buying new (when on offer/with a discount code/cashback/etc.), but the herd of bidders can sometimes miss an item with a relatively high starting price that can still have no bids right at the end of the auction.
