    Duncan,

Wasn't the 'Whats your weather like' another pain in the neck ;) .

Would it be worth pruning (excuse the pun) that one also ?

I regularly say what my weather is like Nathan/Duncan. But it is really just a 'Good morning' topic and nobody would mind if it were started again. Nobody from Kent gives a toss what the N Yorkshire weather is doing anyway. It's just a pleasantry.

Migration has completed - there are one or two minor tweaks to be made though

    Congratulations
    It looks great :)
I see that my link is not working properly
Do I have to change this, or this this one of the little things that need 'tweaked' ? :)

i think you would be best off changing it.

There are a few (well, actually a huge number of) differences between the two pieces of software, it would be worth going through checking signatures and avatars.

There is also an issue with PM's that do not appear to have migrated - I am still working on that but it maybe that I cannot transfer them :(

Well done techies, we seem to be up and running again. Thanx for all the hard work. Is it just my PC or is the signature line still to be tweeked as I can see all the coding?? :)

It is not an issue with sending them, it is more a case of the pm's that were on the old forum system not transferring to the new software.

Just got to make it look pretty now which I think that Nathan may be opening up by way of a competition soon to design logo's etc, but I will let him tell you all about that :D

sounds good! Will you be needing any moderators to help out with keeping the site clean? I quite like the board without all the animated signatures! Is this vBulletin good from an admin point of view just out of interest, as I also use another board and we are thinking of upgrading to phpBB 3.0 soon?
