Well done Duncan, Nathan, Daisees and all. We appear to have the new look which will go brilliantly with my art deco decor.

I'm sure we will get used to the new, modernist, swish look. But we computer morons may need a bit of guidance.

dont worry sarra, i'll try to pull you along kicking and screaming into the future! Im enjoying some of the new features!

Admin - the threads display pages 1,2,3 on the main forums and then have a link to last page, any chance this can be changed so we just have the last 3 page numbers displayed?

Oooh - nice. All new and shiney!

I can see how to post pics, but img code isn't allowed in sigs. Will that be changed?

    From AndyK
I'm trying to drag myself kicking and screaming into the new format:D

How do I grab a quote with it saying who said it without me having to copy, paste and give the poster's name?

Got to try signature and avatar next::)

There's a 'quote' button at the bottom right of each post.

I don't think avatars and sig pics are working yet. The sig info says that img code isn't allowed, and pictures aren't allowed in sigs. Text should be OK though. There was no option for avatars last time I looked.

    signature images sorted :thumb:

but html isnt allowed in signatures - so any of you that have html in there will need to convert it to BBCode so that it shows up - I hope that is okay.

You click on this button [IMG] at the bottom of their post.

However, if you want to quote MORE than one other post, use the multi-quote icon [IMG] in every post you want to quote then, when you are ready to create your post, click on this icon [IMG] at the bottom of the thread on the left.

BTW, if you use the "Go advanced" feature on the Quick Reply box, you can select your font, size and colour and it will 'stick' in the reply box as you type. BUT you need to go into your User CP (top left), click on Edit Options, scroll down to the bottom and select "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing" and you get ALL the bells and whistles!
