Ahhh thank you so much Anothony :)

The problem I have is that I like them too but the depth of field is wrong in the backgrounds which are also too busy if you know what I mean so I'm still working on all of that so that I can start putting them into the camera club.

A judge would mark it down and say it's distracting and takes the eye off the subject

It's easy with flowers in pots as you can put them where you think you can get the best shot whereas, wild life mm mm still lots to learn I think :heehee:

This mornings walk with Tess was just lovely, I was up and out at 7.30am, packed with a thermos cup of coffee, a breakfast bar and my camera... and a treat for Tess :doggieshmooze:

The Mandarin Ducks are just beautiful, first time I have ever seen them with my own eye :)

Thank you Anthony for your kind comment... I'm going to put photo one and the third on in to the photo club tomorrow... photo one is just so romantic and prints out really well, I think I will have to play around a little with the third as I think they will say its a little over exposed

Blinking heck... for such little things...the ducklings really move fast... I was lucky to get the shot I did on the bank side... I'm sure they run on Duracell batteries :heehee:

Is it for a competition, or an exhibition ?

Hi @Anthony Rogers, sorry been really busy at work and back up at 4am so off to bed soon.

It was called a 'walk through' so everyone at the club gives some feed back on how to make the photo better....

It was really good, I got lots of feedback and learnt a lot too :)

The question is.... am I going to put any of my photo's forward for completions...... Not at the moment :)

However, I might take a chance and put the fox in as this got the best reviews :heehee: so with fingers crossed I will wait and see how it does when the next one is opened :)

I know.... just wanted to pick them up and take them home :) but golly gosh do they move... and they are so small and fragile, more worryingly.... being in such an open area, the hawks etc etc were on the circuit

Oh gosh nature is very cruel, I hate seeing the Hawks as beautiful as they are I hate them taking small birds . Several years ago I went on a bike ride with a friend we were almost home & we could hear a bird in distress, I of course went to investigate....a ruddy sparrow hawk had a dove & there was nothing I could do, I know the sparrow Hawks have to eat but it's still awful when you see something like that. I hope all those ducklings are safe :fingers crossed:
