Thank you both for the welcome. [IMG] Dee, if the cooker is a Bramley, you are going to need another 2 trees of the same pollination group. If the Pear is not Conference you will need another variety for pollination. The plum should be alright. [IMG]

No, you would need another 2 trees of the same pollination group, let me know when they arrive and I will let you know which ones to get. :D

I`ve just had a thought Dee, I hope you`ve got a big garden, because these plants are going to need about 12ft ( 3.5m ) all round. [IMG]

No I`m not, [IMG] They`re trees, they need space. You could have the following scenario. If your eating apple is in a different pollination group to your cooking apple, you are going to need a second apple in the same group to pollinate it. As your cooking apple ( assuming it`s a Bramley )is in a different group you will you will need a further two trees in it`s group to get fruit from it.If the pear is not a Conference you will need a second tree for pollinating purposes and if the plum is not Victoria then you will need another for that. [IMG] All clear so far? This means you could end up with 9 fruit trees in your garden, all about 15ft tall (if your lucky) :D Seriously, Dee, don`t panic. You do that when we know what trees you`ve got. If possible, you need to find out what rootstock they are all on. [IMG] [IMG]

Lets hope the neighbours have a few fruit trees to help out with the pollenation.
