Yep. Do you know the rooting stock Dee?

 

No David, The labels on the trees are a bit dirty and worn (tut) and theres nothing on the invoice, actually the labels are written in dutch, but there are some numbers, ill have to look tomorrow..

 

Dee, they are probably on a dwarf or semi dwarfing root stock. In the ground they would probably grow about 12ft to 14ft tall. As you are growing in pots they wont get anywhere near that. Just make sure you feed and water properly.

Hi folks. Having planted the trees a few weeks ago, I was wondering if this plum tree requires pruning.

 

Leave it alone for this year, freddy, let it get established first.

 

David. I would chop it back to one inch. And do that every year on April 1st. :D :D

Hi, my first post since last year. I bought a apple tree last year. one of those slimline ones to go in a large container(forget the name). If calgary logs in, its just to say mines been in flower a week now. although i must admit i thought id lost it. It came to life all at once :O)
