I've got a lovely letter from the Royal British Legion, thanking Willow for clearing up the memorial

She went out and swept all the leaves up, no one asked her to, and she didn't want any credit for it. Just thought i'd mention it to them...

 

Agreed; and that's a really interesting comment because I deleted the part in my post where I also gave some time thinking about the casualties of war: the innocent civilians whose lives were cruelly ripped from them. They paid a high price and didn't even sign on the dotted line.
