I am afraid I have to agree with Helen on this one
The Mexico part was a bit of a farce ... Cuba was a little better
But, overall, it was lacking in substance and interest
I might watch next week again just in case it can only get better ... it certainly can't get any worse [IMG]

I might watch it next week, I might not, I have never seen him on a programme before and I found it barely watchable, too arty farty. I dislike celeb gardeners, Titmarsh et al and this one wasn't any better.

I stopped watching gardening programmes when they got all arty as well.
Not seen this one, but I can imagine what its like.
I would really like to see more time spent on the plants and the culivation, rather than the ramblings of some pompous git saying that the pink flower dont go with the blue one.
And dont mention colour wheels, hot colours, cold colours, white gardens, the RHS has a lot to answer for as well.

I have to agree with you Julia just like good old Geoff Carol does indeed have a real passion for plants something that Monty just doesn't seem to have and you guys are right a bit too arty farty for me, After all in 'real' gardens most of us like nothing better to get 'down and dirty' :D

I think GW would be so much better (just like the old days) if Carol was the main presenter..... it's time for a change I think!
