    I did ask a manufacturer of astronomical filters if he had one, or could make one, for making clear skies. His reply............."I wish"!!:doh::heehee:

          About the best I've done, just a hand held shot of the moon, with my old Canon 30D and Sigma Bigma 50-500 ;)

            A really nice shot, Lurkalot:thumbsup::snorky: You might find that taking images of the Moon when it's waning as the surface shows up really well due to the Shadows..........

                Yeah, Lu, but I'm using a 12 inch SCT with a dedicated CCD camera in an Observatory:dunno: Members like Woo, Martinf, and Bilbo are taking amazing shots with either handheld shots or on a tripod with just their normal cameras. :love30::thumbsup: Have a look at the Moon images only thread and the Star Gazing thread and you'll see what I mean.:coffee::snorky:
