    hi all,
going on from flying ants post, i don't seem to have noticed them here but remember them from southampton when i lived there. Could be a blooming big problem, although at the time it was just because they were yucky things, not because i was bothered about the garden!
one thing we have where i live now, because of a field nearby, is 'cornflies'. every year i forget and every year the doors & windows are covered in them for about a week or two. I can't bear to have shut doors & windows even though in an estate. but these little ******s get everywhere. plus with a dog, they find plenty of places to come when the field is ploughed. Actually i was in a neighbouring field (small, please don't think i live in the country up here), with the dog & the field still looked uncut to me, so maybe they just come at this time of year. Was told when the field was cut that's when they come but don't know now.
    Do you know about them?
    Cheers

    Borrowers,

We keep getting loads of tiny black things around, they seem to hover in hoards. We live close to a farm and also to the new river, walked a dog t'day and there were millions of the little blighters in these hoards, they also seem to like my Australian Bottle Brush for some reason

Have no idea what they are but i daren;t breath when i wall thru the blighters [IMG] [IMG]
