Attention : Gardeners Corner Downtime

Don't drag me into this!!!, Joolz The thing is that this situation has and is affecting all of us from Nathan [the Web Master] downwards. We all thought the move had gone fairly smoothly although changing over to the new host and server has been more traumatic than we thought it would be, but the initial result, once the first niggles were over, was one of vast improvement.

However, Nathan, already under pressure from the move, got presented with a situation which was not of his making but of the Host's, and we're having to keep him away from loaded guns, ladders and ropes, and sharp objects!!!

But the ethos and spirit of GC is, and always has been, that's it's no ordinary forum but one where we are all in it together as friends, supporters, and gardeners who's one aim is to keep it as special as it is. Yes, moving has been a struggle but the improvement has been vast improvement in speed and other things.

This new problem, is not your fault, not my fault, not anyone's on GC's fault, but is one that will deny us all the joys of GC for, at the most, 3 days. I'm not happy about it, but is it going to turn me off GC?.............NOT LIKELY!!!!! So when the down time arrives I will be waiting impatiently for GC to come back on so that I can speak to all of you, who I have come to admire and respect and who have taught me such a lot since I found GC....and for that I really do thank you all. Ha!!, I thumb my nose at the down time!!........ why?, because I know you guys will be there when we come back on line.
