    @Redwing The species were 9 Tortoishell :)
    With the Valerian I have noticed that it will seed whenever "IT" wants ;) so can take a bit of time to get going but once it's happy it will romp away- i do deadhead it every 2 days approx and then hurl the clippings up a steep rock face bank i have - it's now seeded there very happily, and this year flowered at its best very early in the Spring due to our mild Winter past- im now adding this wonderful daisy Erigeron Karvinskianus into the planting plan Erigeron_karvinskianus.JPG
    I have it on retaining and dry stone walls and it flowers from very early this year it's been in flower from March and will carry on until November even early December if we don't get a very hard frost, even then it's really quite tough and I've known it bounce back...i just:wub2: IT...i use it in Hanging baskets and Concrete troughs -little to no watering needed so it's perfect as a foil with Pelagoniums and likewise will flower continuosly - :phew: so no more aggro trying to water water water in the sunniest spots in my garden :yes:
