Can I ask how long you have been developing your garden so that I can reassure myself that mine too will look as lush in time!

Hi everyone, thankyou for your kind comments.

Hi Windy, they were £29.99 each so not too bad, the green glazed ones are better but were £43. Both good sizes for a variety of plants. I have used them for an entrance of bamboo into the garden :D

Hi Celia, if you have a peek at my 'in progress' website there is a guide as to how, what and when. It has been finished in different guises but changed and reordered as my jungle obsession got worse. In all it has been eight years to get to this stage with varying levels of effort and motivation:D

Afternoon, BM! I have a question about pots ... now being Lady of Leisure in Pots ... what is the largest diameter pot you have and what's in it, please?

What size pot is the tree fern in, also the Albizia and did you do that from seed?

Are your gingers ginger from root or another species?

Questions, questions, questions ... need answers, answers, answers. Muitas obrigadinhas, meu amigo! : [IMG]

Hi Marge, I grow it in both pots and in the ground. I have found it to be well behaved as far as growing in a nice clump is concerned and its has shown no tendancy to wander. A modest plant can make a decent enough clump in a few seasons. This clump has taken about 2-3 years to go from 3 litre size to the decent clump it is now.

Pot Grown... slower growth is made...

Contrary to some advice I feed and water it well and it makes good growth and flowers regularly. I let it grow all through the winter before cutting it back to the ground in late feburary just before the new shoots start to show. Then its off again from then...

    BM :D
