Hi Marge, I don't agree with Strongy about your fuchsia, Garden News has pale pink Sepals and a Crimson Corolla, I think it might be Aunty Jinks, take a look at this site, sorry Strongy.

I don't know how to attach it as a link!!!!!

3 weeks holiday????? These employed people have it easy...... Whereas I have to think hard about having the weekend off....
Don't mean it - have a great time Strongy! And take some nice pics of Flower Power, and post them back to us!! :D
Not sure I agree with either of you on the ID - neither seems quite right, and I ahve one very similar - but I don't know what it is either, sorry!! Will investigate further.

looking at the same site, this one is another possible - colour is so hard to be sure about, but the slenderness of the sepals seems more in keeping with Marge's photo....

that's a really good site, Sue!

D, think the corolla is too short on Estelle Marie, quite intreaging, now I must go through my Fuchsia books, anybody else have a view?

fascinating things, IDs, aren't they!! I don't think anywhere keeps really accessible lists with photos of new cultivars, etc. I'll have a look at the sites where I bought my plants this year, and see what I come up with. You could well be right about the corolla, SD

Hi D, still not sure about the I.D. take a look at Marge's photo, the stamens are quite short, agree my suggestion of Auntie Jinks is not the right one as that too has longer stamens.

Well done Marge, you've started an ID search now!
I hope you will have an answer by the time I get back.
We are off to Turkey for a week and then to Northern Cyprus for twelve days, no phones, no computers, nothing. will miss a lot of GC and will have a lot of catching up to do. [IMG]
