Pete what a great photo and yes it is a Peacock. Jjordie's white ones are most likely the large white or the cabbage white

Nothing has really visited my garden this year. Tried to get a pic of the blackbirds using the birdbath but they always see me and fly off. So got this female crane fly instead.

This little fellar keeps stealing all the seed from the bird table, he seems very friendly now comes right up to the kitchen window.

    [IMG] Hi Larburnim,
To get gremlins on, click full reply. Click a gremlin on the left hand side & it will appear in your reply. Use the space bar before & after then they will be sure to appear. :D Good luck. :D preview first, if symbol there & no gremlin it is usually because you need to use space bar. [IMG]

Having great difficulty in finding any 'visitors' to my garden. We usually have frogs, butterflies, dragonflies etc etc but as soon as I go outside with my camera they all disappear.

LOL - only if it is a visitor to your garden (see Nathan's theme for this month). Seems like he/she is right at home [IMG] .

Just been going through your pictures. They are really lovely and the humor brightens my day.
Got to practice with the camera before i can enter a picture
