            1) I have got my eyes on you - Jack ... I had a similar shot planned but didn't get to The Trout, Godstow (of Inspector Morse fame) for the Peacocks in their beer garden, the horse drawn caravan makes a perfect, complimentary background and composition is great.

            2) Kites - JWK ... Great choice of a colourful subject, making me wonder why, as a kite flyer/maker myself, why didn't I think of that?

            3) West coast sunset - Dave W ... I love seaside sunsets and on hols always head to the beach every evening.

              1st........JWK........Kites........I like the different shapes and colours here and great interpretation of the competition theme.

              2nd.......Apple Blossom.......Colours of Homegrown........A lovely, well focused shot and great colour in this photo of our humble every day vegetables.

              3rd.......Prkns.......All the Pinks........I like the uniformity and boldness of this simple shot.

                1.. Nature's Colours - Jack - just edges it for me, nature producing its own vast array of colours

                2.. Blue on Yellow - Scrungee - lovely crisp contrast between the two colours

                3.. Kites - JWK - it just shouts 'colour'

                  The standard of images and originality are just outstanding....almost impossible to pick the best, but for me:

                  1. On of my five a day - Jiffy - so very original and a great shot.

                  2. Kites - JWK - very well composed and not an easy shot to take.

                  3. Eat Me! - Sheal - what can one say about this shot......Sweet!!
