Thanks for all your lovely photos, everybody - really enjoyed looking at them.

Not had much of a chance for 'country walking' recently - but will certainly take my camera with me next time we go for a stroll.

 

Marvelous pics Bilbo....you ought to get those in the 'Autumn Colours ' photo comp

Thanks for that Ziggy & HsuH, I think i'll give them a mis as my cooking is bad, spend to much time in the toilet any way mite make it 10x worse

That'll blet the Medlars then, found several trees this year, laden with fruits.

 

In the woods this morning, i'd been beaten to it by a fungal foraging group who had full baskets when I got back to the car park.

They did leave all this on the picnic table though

 

They could have cleared their mess up before they left Zigs!

 

I thought you were supposed to cut cleanly - not uproot them,

Not a very fungi friendly foraging group by the look of that Zigs, shame on them
