Autumn 2013

Thanks Jenny, Sheal, Loli, Armandii and all

Autumn is a lovely season for photographing, so vibrant and varied. I didn't even need to travel and search for the subjects, they were just here on my door step, as I mentioned earlier, 10 minutes (out and back) on a circular walk along the lanes around my house.

I do enjoy taking photos of fauna and flora, yet your appreciation and encouragement make that enjoyment so much greater. So

I don't know, Jenny. Just went out to have another look at it. The trunk at the base is about 40-50cm diameter. It's growing in the garden of a house that is similar to ours which was built pre 1840, so the yew tree could have been planted anytime since mid 19th century.

The deciduous trees are still heavy with leaf and not bronzed yet . It's the same here but I think this weekend may turn them as it's got a lot colder,
